Prominent advisors and investors in the clean technology sector will offer the latest insights into clean technology finance as they join Presidio Graduate School President and CEO William Shutkin in conversation on Thursday, April 25.

Open to the public, the event is part of the Presidio Presents Speaker Series and will take place in San Francisco from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Prior to the presentation, at 6:30 p.m., Presidio Graduate School will hold an informal information session for prospective MBA, MPA or Dual Degree students.

Speakers at the clean technology finance event will include:

• Adam Bergman, Founder and CEO of Bergman Strategic Advisors
A long-time investment banker and among the leading experts on clean technology finance, Bergman has worked exclusively with clean technology clients since 2005 and, through the firm he founded in 2012, now provides independent strategic advice to companies raising capital from public and private sources.

• Michael Linse, Partner, Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers (KPCB)
Linse focuses on investments with the Green Growth Fund at his firm, which has been a major investor in innovative “green tech” ventures since 1999, and previously managed the alternative energy investing team at Goldman Sachs in London.

• Robert O’Connor, Corporate Partner, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati
A leader in the legal services firm’s energy and clean technology practice, O’Connor focuses on representing technology companies in raising capital through private and public debt and equity financing, including initial public offerings.
“Presidio Graduate School is pleased to have assembled a distinguished panel of experts on a topic of great importance to our economy and our society,” says Shutkin. “I look forward to hearing the speakers’ perspectives on business and financing opportunities for innovative ideas in clean technology.”

The April 25 event and the entire 2012–2013 Presidio Presents Speaker Series are made possible through the sponsorship of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Sustainable Industries and Jones Lang LaSalle.
